Once upon a time there was a radio telescope named "Emit" who lived in an observatory. Emit loved to listen to the stars and would spend hours every day looking up at the sky.
One day, while listening to the stars, Emit realized that he couldn’t hear as well as he used to. He asked his friend the optical telescope for help. The optical telescope noticed that Emit’s receiver was concave instead of convex.
To fix the problem, the optical telescope brought over an amplifier. They installed it and now Emit could hear the stars loud and clear. From that day on, Emit was the happiest radio telescope in the observatory!
