Once upon a time, there was a hungry little girl named Lily who had to choose what to eat for breakfast. She went to the kitchen and found that she had an omelet, cereal, pancake, yogurt, tea, a peach and a pear. "What should I eat?" she thought. Suddenly, she heard a voice say, "Eat me!" She looked around and saw that all the food was talking!

Lily was so surprised, she asked, "Who are you?" The omelet said, "I'm Omelet, and I'm egg-cited to be eaten." The cereal said, "I'm Cereal, and I'm a bowl-ful of fun." The pancake said, "I'm Pancake, and I'm a stack of joy." The yogurt said, "I'm Yogurt, and I'm cool and creamy." The tea said, "I'm Tea, and I'm a warm hug in a cup." The peach said, "I'm Peach, and I'm sweet and juicy." The pear said, "I'm Pear, and I'm crisp and crunchy."

Lily wasn’t sure what to do but she didn't want to hurt their feelings, so she decided to try a little bit of everything. She took a bite of each food and found that they were all delicious. "Wow," she said, "I never knew food could be so much fun!"

From that day on, every time Lily ate breakfast, she heard the food talk and laugh with her. She was never bored and always happy. The end.
