Once upon a time, there was a man who lived in a small village. He loved geese and had many of them. One day, a child came to visit him and asked if he could play with the geese. The man agreed and the child started playing with the geese.
Meanwhile, a group of mice were sneaking around the village, trying to steal food from the women and men. But as soon as they saw the child playing with the geese, they got scared and ran away.
The child laughed and told the man what had just happened. The man was very happy and decided to keep the child around to scare away the mice. So the child became the official "goose-keeper" and was in charge of keeping the mice away from the village.
The women and men were very grateful to the child and started calling him "the mouse-chaser." Children from all over the village would come to see the child and the geese. They would also bring their own mice to chase away, just for fun.
One day, a woman came to visit the man and asked if she could play with the geese too. The man agreed and the woman started playing with the geese. But as soon as the mice saw her, they started to run away again. The woman laughed and said "I guess I'm a mouse-chaser too!"
From that day on, the woman visited the man and the child every day to chase away the mice. And the village was filled with laughter and joy, thanks to the man, the child, the geese, and the mouse-chasing woman!
