Once upon a time, in a far-off land, there was a small village called Slough. The village was dilapidated, with houses that were falling apart and streets that were full of potholes. But the people of Slough were a hardy bunch, and they made the best of what they had.

The villagers lived this way for many days, trapped inside their own village, until one day a wise old man came to visit. He looked at the membrane and knew exactly what it was. He told the villagers that the membrane was a test. It was a test of their determination and their ability to work together.
And so, the villagers worked together, and they did not give up. They worked day and night to find a way to dissipate the membrane, and finally, after many days, they succeeded. The membrane disappeared, and the village was free once more.
The villagers were overjoyed, and they knew that they could face any challenge that came their way, as long as they worked together. And so, they lived happily ever after.
