Once upon a time, there was a tourist named Tim who wanted to spend his Christmas holiday skiing in a holiday resort. So, he boarded a coach and headed to the forest where the resort was located.
When he arrived, he found that the workers at the resort were elves! They showed him to his wooden cabin and he noticed that all the other cabins were empty.
Tim asked one of the elves why no one else was there and the elf replied with a twinkle in his eye, "Oh, we only rent out our cabins to tourists on Christmas Eve because Santa Claus needs a place to rest after delivering presents to all the children in the world."
Tim was thrilled to be spending Christmas with Santa and the elves, but he was also a little worried. He had heard that Santa was very strict and only gave presents to well-behaved children.
The next morning, Tim went skiing in the forest and had the time of his life. But when he returned to the cabin, he noticed that the elves were frantically searching for something.
"What's going on?" he asked.
"Santa's sleigh is missing!" the elves replied. "We need to find it before he comes back from delivering presents or he won't have a way to get back to the North Pole."
Tim offered to help and they searched high and low, but they couldn't find the sleigh anywhere. Just then, Tim had an idea. He suggested that they use his skis as a sled and pull Santa back to the holiday resort.
The elves thought it was a brilliant idea and they set off into the forest. When they finally found Santa, he was overjoyed to see them and climbed onto Tim's skis.
The elves pulled Santa back to the holiday resort, singing Christmas carols the whole way. And when they arrived, Santa gave Tim the best present of all - a big hug, thanking him for his help.
From that day on, Tim was known as the "skiing Santa saver" and every year, he returned to the holiday resort to spend Christmas with his new friends, the elves.
