Once upon a time, Santa Claus was getting ready for Christmas Eve. But, when he went to grab his hat, he realized it was missing!
He asked his trusty elf for help. Together, they searched high and low, but the hat was nowhere to be found.
Just then, they heard jingling bells coming from the fireplace. They cautiously approached and found a snowman wearing Santa's hat!
The snowman explained that he needed the hat to keep warm in the chilly North Pole weather. Santa and the elf chuckled and agreed to lend him the hat for the night.
But as they sat by the fire drinking hot cocoa, the candle caught the hat on fire. In a panic, the snowman ran off into the night, still wearing the blazing hat.
Santa and the elf laughed and laughed at the silly snowman, and from that day on, they made sure to have extra hats on hand in case any other chilly creatures needed one.
