Once upon a time, in a far-off kingdom in China, there lived a mischievous rabbit named Hop. He loved playing pranks on all creatures big and small. New Year's day was coming and the dragon who guarded the kingdom's prosperity was getting ready to celebrate.
Hop decided to play a trick on the dragon by swapping his lucky calendar with one that was a day behind. On New Year's Eve, the dragon woke up to find that he had missed the celebration! Furious, the dragon went to find Hop.
Hop explained that it was just a joke and offered the dragon some delicious dumplings and juicy oranges as a peace offering. The dragon, being a good sport, forgave Hop and together they celebrated the start of the new year with a big feast. They both learned that even though good luck and prosperity are important, it's always better to have a sense of humor and make peace with friends.
