Read together

Once upon a time, there was a dance competition. A frog, bird, chimp, horse and fish all wanted to participate. The frog started to jump and hop, but the bird flew and twirled in the air. The chimp swung from tree to tree, the horse galloped and pranced and the fish swam gracefully in the water. In the end, the judges declared that everyone was a winner because they all danced in their own unique way. The end.

Talk about it

Reflection

  1. How did each animal dance in the competition?
  2. Who were the judges and what did they declare at the end?
  3. Why do you think the judges declared everyone a winner?
  4. Can you think of another animal that could have participated in the dance competition? How might it have danced?
