Once upon a time, there was a little race car named Speedy. Speedy loved to zoom around the track and show off his shiny red paint and shiny chrome exhaust pipe. But one day, while Speedy was out on a practice run, something went wrong.

As he was coming around a sharp turn, his suspension started to make a strange noise. Speedy tried to ignore it and keep going, but soon his engine started to sputter. He knew he had to pull off the track and figure out what was wrong.

He drove to the pits and his pit crew got to work. They checked everything from his brake pedal to his axle and finally they found the problem: his clutch was worn out. They quickly got a new one and put it in place.

Speedy was so excited to get back out on the track, but before he could go, he had to put on his helmet. Safety was always important to Speedy and his pit crew.

With his new clutch and his helmet securely in place, Speedy revved his engine and zoomed back out on the track. He felt like a brand new race car and couldn't wait to show off his new power.

From that day on, Speedy always made sure to take good care of his clutch and all the other parts of his car. And he always wore his helmet, too! He knew that being safe on the track was just as important as winning the race.
