Once upon a time, in a house full of furniture, there lived a picture on the wall who always wanted to have some fun. One day the picture said to the window, “I’m bored! Let’s play a game.” The window replied, “What kind of game do you want to play?” The picture thought for a moment and then said, “Let’s pretend we’re all alive! I’ll be the leader.”
The sofa and armchair jumped up, eager to join in. The chair and lamp said they wanted to play too. The carpet, TV, and table all agreed, and the picture began to give orders. “Sofa, sit down! Armchair, stand up! Chair, spin around! Lamp, turn off! Carpet, roll up! TV, turn on! Table, jump up and down!”
Everyone followed the picture’s commands, and it was a wild and silly time. But just as the furniture was having the most fun, the door opened, and in walked a little girl. She looked around the room, amazed at what she saw. The furniture all froze, not wanting to be caught playing a game. The little girl smiled and said, “Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. Can I play too?”
And so, the picture, window, sofa, armchair, chair, lamp, carpet, TV, and table all played together with the little girl, having the best time of their lives. From that day on, they played every day, always making sure to stop when someone came into the room. And they lived happily ever after.
