Once upon a time, in a jungle far away, there lived a kangaroo named Joey. He loved to eat noodles and always kept a stash of them in his pouch. One day, while he was munching on his noodles, an ostrich appeared out of nowhere and asked him for some. Joey happily shared his noodles with the ostrich and they became fast friends.

As they were eating, they noticed a monkey trying to reach a lemon hanging from a tree with its nose. The monkey couldn't quite reach it, so Joey offered to help. They bounced up and down, but no matter how hard they tried, they just couldn't reach it.

All of a sudden, an octopus appeared and offered to help. The octopus used its long tentacles to grab the lemon and hand it to the monkey. The monkey was so happy that he offered to share the lemon with everyone.

Just then, a lion appeared and started to chase the monkey. The monkey dropped the lemon and ran as fast as it could, with the lion close behind. Joey, the ostrich, and the octopus all worked together to save the monkey by using a key to unlock a mouse hole. The mouse was inside and promised to help them.

The mouse scurried around and found a basket of lemons that the lion had been guarding. The mouse handed the lemons to Joey and his friends, and they used them to distract the lion. The lion was so busy eating the lemons that the monkey was able to escape.

From that day on, the kangaroo, the ostrich, the octopus, and the monkey all became great friends, and every time they got together, they would always have a basket of lemons on hand, just in case the lion showed up again.
