Once upon a time, there was a cat named Mittens who loved to play in his owner's desk drawers. One day, Mittens hopped into the drawer filled with pencils and decided to take a nap. Suddenly, he heard a loud honk from outside the window. It was a duck who was driving a car! The duck honked at the cat, asking for help. "Oh no!" said Mittens, "I need to get out of here and see what's going on." Mittens quickly jumped out of the drawer, ran out the door and saw the duck behind the wheel of a car. The duck explained that he was on his way to a birthday party and needed a cup to put his tea in. Mittens knew just the place to go - the kitchen cupboard. He ran back inside, grabbed a cup and ran back outside to give it to the duck. The duck was so grateful that he offered to share his cake with Mittens. The two of them enjoyed the cake together while a dog watched from a distance, wondering why he wasn't invited to the party. And they all lived happily ever after.
