Read together

Once upon a time, there was a group of animal friends: a puppy, kitten, foal, cub, calf and chick. Tired of playing alone, they decided to have a race to find the fastest animal. The puppy barked "I'll win!" The kitten meowed "You wish!" The foal neighed "I'm the fastest!" And so on.
On race day, the puppy tripped and fell, the kitten got tangled in its own tail, the foal had a cramp and the cub, calf and chick all tripped over each other. When they finally reached the finish line, they realized that they were all winners because friendship is more important than winning. From that day on, they played together happily ever after.
