Once upon a time, there was a pot named Jack. He lived in a kitchen with all his friends - a slice of bread, a bowl of cereal, a loaf of bread and a tin can. One day, Jack decided to launch a baking competition. Each of them had to bake something delicious and whoever baked the best would win a prize.
The slice of bread was the first to go. He made a sandwich and added some cheese to it. But when he tried to put it in the oven, he found out he couldn't fit. So, he asked the loaf of bread for help, and they together went into the oven.
The bowl of cereal was next, but he couldn't decide what to bake. So, he asked the tin can for help. The tin can suggested they make a cake in a can, and the bowl agreed. They added some milk and sugar and then popped themselves into the oven.
Finally, it was Jack's turn. He thought for a moment and remembered his grandmother’s recipe for a pot pie. He gathered all the ingredients, added them to the pot and placed it in the oven.
When the timer went off, they all came out of the oven. To their surprise, the slice and loaf of bread had become a warm and gooey grilled cheese sandwich. The bowl and tin can had turned into a delicious cake in a can. And Jack's pot pie was a masterpiece, with a golden brown crust, and a yummy filling.
Everyone agreed that they were all winners and decided to share their creations. They each took a piece and enjoyed the delicious treats they had baked together. From that day on they all lived happily ever after.
