Once upon a time there was a chair who dreamed of writing a book. So he asked the pencil, “Can you help me write a story?” The pencil replied, “I’m sorry, but I can only draw pictures.” The chair then asked the pen, “Can you help me write a story?” And the pen replied, “Of course! I love to write!”

So the chair and the pen sat at the table and began to write a story. But every time they wrote a word, the eraser would come along and erase it! The chair and the pen were getting frustrated until they had an idea. They decided to team up and write a story about the eraser.

The next day, they presented their book to the eraser, and the eraser was so touched that he decided to stop erasing everything. From that day on, the chair, the pen, and the eraser all worked together to write many more stories.
