Once upon a time, there was a curious cat named Mittens. One day, Mittens stumbled upon a doll, an apple, a ball, an egg, and a frog all playing together in the park.
The cat was amazed and asked, "What are you all doing?"
The doll replied, "We're playing a game of catch-the-apple!"
Mittens, being a cat, was excellent at catching things, so she jumped right in.
But every time Mittens would catch the apple, the frog would leap up and steal it back!
Eventually, Mittens had enough and challenged the frog to a race, where the winner would get to keep the apple.
The frog agreed, and the race was on!
Mittens chased the frog around the park, but just as she thought she had won, the egg rolled by and tripped her up.
The frog hopped over Mittens, snatched the apple, and declared victory.
Mittens was disappointed, but the doll, ball, and egg cheered her up and they all shared the apple together.
From that day on, Mittens learned to never give up and to always play fair.
