The monkey, kangaroo, and mouse set off to find the lemon tree. When they arrived, they found the lion snoozing underneath it. They quietly tiptoed past the lion and started picking lemons. But as they were leaving, the lion woke up and roared!

The monkey, kangaroo, and mouse ran as fast as they could, but the lion was gaining on them. Suddenly, the monkey remembered the key in his pocket. He quickly unlocked a nearby cage and the three friends jumped inside. The lion tried to get in, but the door was locked.

The three friends laughed and enjoyed their lemon treats, safe from the lion. And from that day on, they always remembered to bring the key on their adventures in the jungle.
