Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Sally. She loved playing with her ball and would roll it around in the hall of her house every day.

One day, while playing with her ball in the hall, it accidentally rolled out the front door and into the street. Sally quickly ran after it, but it was too late. The ball had rolled all the way to the mall.

Sally was determined to get her ball back, so she called her mom and asked if she could go to the mall to find it. Her mom agreed and even offered to drive her.

When they arrived at the mall, Sally saw her ball rolling around near the food court. She ran to retrieve it, but as she was about to grab it, the ball started rolling away again. This time, it rolled into the new toy store that had just installed in the mall.

Sally followed the ball into the store and found it rolling around on the top shelf, next to a tall toy robot. She couldn't reach it, so she called for the store clerk to help her.

The clerk was very kind and used a ladder to retrieve the ball for Sally. She thanked him and was so excited to finally have her ball back.

Sally and her mom left the mall, and on the way home, Sally couldn't stop talking about her adventure. She was so happy that she didn't have to fall asleep without her beloved ball.
