The Sinking Feather Race

Once upon a time, there was a group of animals who lived in a hive. They were a mixed bunch: some had feathers, some had skin, some had gills and some had scales. One day, the amphibians and mammals decided to have a race to see who was the fastest swimmer. The feathers and skin cheered from the sidelines, while the gills and scales dove into the water. Just as the race was about to start, a mischievous bird flew by and dropped a feather into the water. The gills and scales got tangled up in the feather and started sinking! The amphibians and mammals quickly swam over to help, but they all got stuck too. It turned out that the feather was magic and made everything it touched sink! But, just as they were about to give up, the hive came to the rescue. They used their strong wings to blow the feather out of the water and everyone was able to swim again. From that day on, the animals learned to work together and have fun, no matter what their differences were.
