Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the dragon let out a final, defeated roar and fell to the ground, unconscious. The village was saved and Bash was hailed as a hero.

Bash returned home with a rash from the dragon's fire but was proud of what he had accomplished. From that day on, he was known as the dragon slayer and his legend lived on for generations to come.
