Once upon a time, in the North Pole, six friends - a reindeer, penguin, polar bear, walrus, beluga whale, and narwhal - were playing together. They decided to have a race to see who was the fastest swimmer.
The reindeer was confident that he would win because he had powerful legs, but the penguin argued that he was a great swimmer because he had flippers. The polar bear, on the other hand, was convinced that his strength would help him win and the walrus thought his big belly would make him float faster. The beluga whale was sure that his long body would help him glide through the water and the narwhal had his unique spiral tusk, which he believed would give him an advantage.
They all lined up at the starting line and took off. The reindeer was first, but he quickly realized that he was not a good swimmer and started to sink. The penguin was doing well, but he was so busy trying to keep his bowtie dry that he lost sight of the finish line.
The polar bear was swimming strong, but he was getting tired and started to slow down. The walrus was doing well too, but his big belly was making it difficult for him to swim fast. The beluga whale was gliding smoothly, but he was so relaxed that he was taking a nap and missed the finish line.
The narwhal, on the other hand, was having a blast! He was using his tusk as a rudder and he was moving with ease. He crossed the finish line first and was declared the winner.
The others were disappointed, but they all agreed that the narwhal had the most fun and that was what really mattered. They all cheered for the narwhal and promised to have more races in the future.
And that is how the six friends learned that having fun is more important than winning a race.
