Once upon a time, there was a monkey who lived in a jungle with all his animal friends. One day, the monkey came up with a brilliant idea to have a picnic in the jungle. He invited all of his friends: the birds, rabbits, frogs, dogs and cats.

Everyone was very excited and they all started preparing for the picnic. The birds were in charge of bringing the food, the rabbits were in charge of setting up the table, the frogs were in charge of bringing drinks, the dogs were in charge of keeping watch, and the cats were in charge of playing games.

As they were all setting up, the monkey suddenly remembered that he forgot the plates! He quickly asked the bird if he could fly to the store and buy some. The bird agreed and flew off.

While the bird was gone, the rest of the animals continued with their preparations. All of a sudden, they heard a loud noise coming from the sky. It was the bird! He had accidentally flown into a tree and had gotten stuck.

The dog offered to go up the tree and rescue the bird. The frog offered to give the dog a boost so he could reach the bird. The cat offered to help the frog hold the dog steady. And the rabbit offered to help the cat.

After much effort and laughter, the bird was finally rescued and the picnic continued as planned. They all had a great time eating, drinking, playing games, and telling funny stories. From that day on, the monkey promised to always have extra plates at every picnic. The end.
