Once upon a time, there was a housewife who was bored and wanted to try out a new job for the day. She asked each of the people in her village what they did, starting with the doctor. The doctor showed her how to check a patient’s pulse and listen to their heartbeat. But the housewife found it too boring.
Next, she went to the fireman and learned how to use the hose to put out fires. But that was too dangerous for her.
Then she met the policeman and helped him catch a thief. But she didn't like the danger involved.
She visited the teacher and learned about numbers and letters but found it too boring.
The postman showed her how to deliver letters, but she found it tiring.
Finally, she met the pupil and the farmer. They invited her to learn about planting crops and taking care of animals on the farm. The housewife had so much fun and decided this was the job for her! From then on, she was known as the farmer-housewife and was the happiest she had ever been.
