Once upon a time, there was a shelf in the kitchen that was very lonely. One day, it decided to play a trick on the blanket on the bed. It whispered to the pillow, "Let's pretend to be asleep." The pillow agreed and they both closed their eyes.
When the blanket came into the room, it saw the shelf and pillow sleeping and thought, "Great, now I can have some alone time." So, it snuggled up into a ball on the rug.
But just as the blanket got comfortable, the cupboard jumped out and shouted, "Surprise!" The blanket was so scared that it flew into the air and landed in the bin. The rug started to giggle, and the pillow couldn't help but join in. The blanket was so embarrassed that it decided to stay in the bin for the rest of the day.
