Once upon a time, in a vegetable garden, there was a group of friends: Salad, Cucumber, Corn, Carrot, Onion, Garlic, Potato and Pepper. They would often play games and have fun together.
One day, they decided to have a cooking competition. Each vegetable had to cook something delicious using only the ingredients from the garden.
Salad made a delicious mixed greens salad, Cucumber made cucumber sandwiches, Corn made sweet corn on the cob, Carrot made a carrot cake, Onion made onion rings, Garlic made garlic bread, Potato made mashed potatoes and Pepper made pepper soup.
At the end of the day, they sat down to eat and judge each other's dishes. But as soon as they took a bite, they realized that their dishes were too spicy! All of them were so spicy that they started to jump, dance, and even cry!
But then they all laughed and realized they had added too many peppers to their dishes. They all had so much fun that they decided to make it a yearly competition. And every year, they would try to make their dishes less spicy, but always with lots of laughter and fun.
