The Truth About Fruits and Vegetables

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Lily who loved to tell stories. One day she was asked what the truth was, and she thought long and hard. She finally came up with an idea.

She gathered all of her friends and said, "I have something to tell you all. Let's play a game of either/or. I'll say two things, and you have to choose which one you think is true."

Her friends were eager to play, so Lily started. "Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable?" they all shouted "Fruit!"

Lily smiled, "Correct! Now for the next one. Is a potato a fruit or a vegetable?" "Vegetable!" Her friends answered.

Lily was impressed by their knowledge, so she kept asking, "Is a cabbage a fruit or a vegetable?" "Vegetable!" They all shouted.

"And what about lettuce?" Lily asked. "Vegetable!" her friends replied.

Finally, Lily asked, "Is a pea a fruit or a vegetable?" They all thought for a moment and then shouted, "Vegetable!"

Lily clapped and cheered, "Well done! You all got them right. Now, let's go have some fun in the garden and pick some of these delicious vegetables."

And so they went outside and had a great time picking fresh vegetables, laughing and telling more stories. The end.
