Once upon a time, there was a parrot named Polly. Polly was a very tall parrot, and she loved to perch on the top of her cage and look out the window. She would often watch the children playing outside and wish she could join them.

One day, a little boy came to the pet store where Polly lived. He was looking for a new pet to take home. When he saw Polly, he knew she was the one he wanted. He asked the store owner if he could take her home, and the owner said yes.

The little boy was so excited to take Polly home. He had a big cage all set up for her in his room. But when he tried to put Polly in the cage, she wouldn't fit! The cage was too short for her tall body.

From that day on, Polly and the little boy were the best of friends. They would spend hours playing together and taking long flights in the park. Polly was no longer just a tall parrot in a cage, she was a beloved pet and a cherished friend.
