Once upon a time, there was a big black bird named Benny. He lived in a forest and had many friends. But, he always felt like something was missing. He wanted to be the best bird in the forest.
One day, while flying between some trees, Benny saw a beautiful bird with colorful feathers. He asked her name and she said it was Bella. She told him that her birthday was coming up and she wanted to have the best birthday celebration ever.
Benny thought for a bit and then came up with a great idea. He would bring her the biggest and juiciest berries from the forest as a birthday gift.
He flew from tree to tree, collecting the best berries he could find. When he finally gave them to Bella, she was so happy and took a big bite out of one. It was delicious!
Benny realized then that being his best self and making others happy was much better than trying to be the best bird in the forest. From that day on, he and Bella became the best of friends and celebrated birthdays together every year.
