Lily's New Lesson

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily who lived in a small village. She had a kind neighbour who helped her whenever she needed it, but one day, while playing outside, she accidentally stepped on a needle and hurt herself. She cried and ran to her neighbour for help. The neighbour took care of her and told her, "Don't worry, you'll be better soon."

Lily asked, "How do I avoid getting hurt again?" Her neighbour replied, "Always look before you step and watch out for sharp objects."

From that day on, Lily was more careful and never stepped on a needle again. She also learned a new way to play with her friends by using a net to catch butterflies in the garden. Neither she nor her friends were ever hurt again, and they all lived happily ever after.

Reflections

  1. What did Lily learn from her neighbour after she got hurt by the needle?
  2. Why was it important for Lily to be careful when she was playing outside?
  3. How did Lily and her friends play in the garden after she learned her lesson?
  4. What can we learn from Lily's story?
