Read together

Once upon a time, in a kingdom of active creatures, there lived a little dragon named Ascent. He was an adaptive dragon who loved to make new friends and explore the world around him.
One day, as he was flying through the sky, he noticed that everything around him seemed so absolute and abstract. The trees looked like they were made of mathematical equations, and the clouds looked like they were made of abstract art.
Ascent was curious and decided to learn more about this strange world. He discovered that everything was connected in an acyclic way, meaning that each thing was connected to one another like a never-ending chain.
But the best part was when he learned about amortized algorithms, which helped him approximate things even better. With this new knowledge, Ascent was able to soar higher and higher into the sky, exploring new wonders every day!

Reflection

  1. What did Ascent notice about the world around him?
  2. How does Ascent learn about amortized algorithms?
  3. In what way was everything connected in the abstract world?
  4. How does Ascent use his new knowledge to explore the world?
