The Watchtower of the Safe Kingdom

Once upon a time, there was a small kingdom that was protected by a strong castle. The castle had many fortifications to keep it safe from invaders, such as a palisade, a ravelin, a redoubt, and a station. These were all places where soldiers could stand guard and watch for danger.

One day, the king of the kingdom decided to build a new tower to make their castle even safer. This tower would be called a watchtower, and it would be tall and strong, with a turret on top. The watchtower would be the highest point in the kingdom, so the soldiers could see far and wide to spot any danger early.

The people of the kingdom worked hard to build the watchtower, using wood from the nearby forest to make a stockade. They put up the walls, built the staircase, and finally, they placed the turret on top.

Finally, the day arrived when the watchtower was finished, and the king and the queen went to see it. They climbed to the top of the tower, and from there, they could see the whole kingdom spread out before them. They were very happy, knowing that their kingdom was now even safer than before.

And so, from that day on, the watchtower stood tall and proud, keeping a careful eye on the kingdom, and all the people of the kingdom felt safe and protected.
