Once upon a time, there was a little squirrel named Sammy. He lived in a big oak tree and loved to collect acorns to store for winter. One day, while he was out gathering acorns, he came across a field of alfalfa. He had never seen it before and decided to try it. It was delicious!
As he was munching on the alfalfa, he noticed a bamboo forest in the distance. He had never been to a bamboo forest before, so he scampered over to explore. When he got there, he saw a beautiful sight: blades of bamboo swaying in the wind.
Sammy decided to climb up one of the bamboo stalks to see if he could find any berries. He climbed up the smooth bark and soon reached the top, where he found a bush full of juicy berries! He gobbled them up and felt very happy.
Just then, he heard a rustling noise. A big brush hog was coming his way, and it was headed straight for the bamboo! Sammy quickly scurried down the stalk and ran back to his oak tree as fast as he could.
When he got there, he realized that the brush hog was just a friendly bean farmer, who was simply clearing the way for his crops. Sammy was relieved and went back to his acorn collection with a full belly and a heart full of adventure.
