Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily who loved to cook. One day, she found a box of frozen berries in the freezer and decided to make a delicious berry jam. She put the berries in a pot and turned on the stove to let them steam. While they were steaming, she stirred the berries gently with a spoon. As the berries started to thaw, she added sugar to the pot and continued to stir.
When the berries were soft and juicy, Lily took the pot off the stove and let the jam cool down. She then got out some bread and put it in the toaster. While the bread was toasting, she spread the berry jam on top.
Lily took a bite of her toast and was delighted by how delicious it was! She smiled and said, "I made this all by myself!" From that day on, she made berry jam and toast every morning and always remembered the steps to make it: steam, stir, thaw, and toast!
