The Fair Game: A lesson on Cooperation and Appropriate Communication

Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Timmy who loved to play with his friends in the park. One day, while playing a game of tag, Timmy's friends all assumed that he was "it" because he was the slowest runner. Timmy felt upset because he didn't think it was fair for them to assume that he was always the one who was "it."

He decided to talk to his friends and explain how he felt. At first, they denied that they were treating him unfairly, but Timmy was convincing and they eventually agreed to cooperate and come up with a new way of choosing who was "it."

They decided to go for a random selection method, where they would write all of their names on slips of paper and pick one out of a hat. This way, no one would be assumed to be "it" every time.

With the new method in place, Timmy and his friends began to play together more often and they all agreed that the game was more fun. They also realized that it was appropriate to speak up when they felt something wasn't fair and that by cooperating, they could improve their friendship.

From that day on, Timmy and his friends always made sure to be fair in their games and to work together to make things better for everyone. They learned that by speaking up and cooperating, they could make their friendship even stronger.
