Once upon a time there was a little girl named Lily who loved to play with all kinds of gadgets. She had a camera, an electric lamp, a radio, a CD player and a laptop. One day, while playing with her laptop, all the electricity in the house went out!
Lily was very upset because she couldn't play with her toys anymore. But then she remembered that she had a telephone and called her dad to come and help.
Her dad told her that there was a big storm outside that had caused a power outage. He said not to worry, he would fix everything right away.
So he went outside and found that a tree had fallen on the power lines. He quickly fixed it and the electricity was back on.
Lily was so happy that she could play with all of her gadgets again. She learned that electricity is very important for all the things she loves to do.
