The Storm and the Saviour Cow: A Story of Friendship and Teamwork

Once upon a time, in a beautiful green meadow, there lived a happy family of farm animals. There was a chicken named Cluck, a cat named Whiskers, a dog named Rover, a bird named Tweety, a horse named Thunder, a sheep named Wooly, a duck named Quackers, and a cow named Bessie.

They all lived together in harmony, playing and exploring the meadow every day. Cluck would peck at the ground for insects, while Whiskers would chase butterflies. Rover would chase after birds, and Tweety would fly above them all, singing a beautiful song. Thunder would run as fast as he could, and Wooly would frolic in the fields of grass. Quackers would paddle in the nearby pond, and Bessie would munch on the fresh clover.

One day, a big storm rolled in, and all the animals were frightened. They all ran to the barn to seek shelter, but when they got there, they found that it was already full with other animals. They realized that they needed to work together to find a solution.

Cluck had an idea, she said "I know! We can all pile on top of Bessie, she's the biggest and strongest of us all." And so they did, Bessie lay on the ground and all the animals climbed on top of her. She held them all safely while they waited out the storm.

When the storm passed, they all thanked Bessie for keeping them safe. From that day on, they all realized the importance of working together and supporting each other. They continued to live happily in their meadow, always looking out for one another.

The end.

  3. Why was Bessie chosen to help the animals during the storm?
  4. How did the animals feel about Bessie after the storm passed?
  5. How did the storm change the animals' behavior towards each other in the future?
