Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lily who loved to paint and play outside. One day, she decided to paint her front door purple. She got out her paint, brushes and shoes and got to work. As she was painting, she noticed the fence needed a fresh coat too, so she painted that purple as well.
After she finished, she put on her grass-stained shoes and went to play on the swing. She swung higher and higher until she heard a hissing sound. It was the hose spraying water all over the freshly painted fence! Lily quickly ran over to turn off the hose.
She realized she had forgotten to turn it off after watering the flowers. The water mixed with the paint and turned the fence into a beautiful shade of lavender. Lily smiled at her creation and decided to go back to swinging, feeling proud of her art and happy for a fun day outside.
