Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily who lived on a farm with her grandpa. They had a big shed where they kept their tools and equipment. Near the shed, there was an orchard filled with apple trees, peaches, and plums. Behind the orchard was a corral where they kept their horses, cows, and goats. The barn was next to the corral and it was where they stored hay and feed for the animals. The farmhouse was at the center of the farm and it was where Lily and her grandpa lived. One day, Lily found a little pen in the shed and she decided to make a surprise for her grandpa. She gathered some grass and made a cozy bed for the baby chicks she found in the barn. She put them in the pen and showed her grandpa. He was so happy and proud of her! From that day on, Lily took care of the baby chicks every day. The end.
