Once upon a time, there was a little cat named Mittens. Mittens loved to play in the park, chasing butterflies and climbing trees. One day, while she was exploring the park, she saw a bat flying overhead. Mittens had never seen a bat before and she was very curious. She followed the bat to a nearby apple tree. The bat was eating an apple, and Mittens decided she wanted a taste too.

As Mittens reached for an apple, she heard a loud growling noise. She looked around and saw an alligator coming towards her! Mittens was terrified and didn't know what to do. She looked to the bat for help, but he had flown away. Suddenly, an ant walked by and told Mittens that she should not be afraid. The alligator is a vegetarian and only eats fruits and vegetables. Mittens was relieved and decided to try the apple. It was delicious!

Mittens thanked the ant and continued to explore the park. She saw a car driving by and a cup on the ground. She also saw a tiger in the distance, but she knew it was safe to watch from afar. From then on, Mittens was not afraid to try new things and always remembered to be brave. The end.
