Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily who was going to school for the very first time. She was so excited to learn new things and make new friends. She woke up early on her first day of school and got dressed in her new school uniform. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. She then went to the kitchen where her mom had prepared her a delicious breakfast.
After breakfast, Lily grabbed her backpack and put all her school supplies inside. She put her pencils, ruler, eraser, crayons, marker, pen, notebook, paper and pencil case inside her backpack. She zipped it up and put it on her back. She hugged her mom and dad and then she was off to school.
When she arrived at school, she walked into her classroom and saw all her new classmates. She felt a little nervous, but she remembered all the things her parents had told her about being brave. She walked to her seat and introduced herself to the girl sitting next to her. Her name was Ava and she was very friendly.
The teacher then introduced herself and told the class that they were going to have a lot of fun learning new things. She then gave them their first assignment, which was to draw a picture of their family. Lily opened her backpack and took out her crayons, pencils, and paper. She began to draw her mom, dad, and her little brother. She was so proud of her drawing and couldn't wait to show it to her parents.
When the school day was over, Lily walked out of the school with Ava and they talked about all the fun things they learned that day. Lily couldn't wait to go back to school the next day and learn more new things.
From that day on, Lily always made sure to keep her backpack packed with her pencils, ruler, eraser, crayons, marker, pen, notebook, paper and pencil case, so she was always ready for school. She and Ava became best friends and they had many more adventures together.
