The Hibernating Predator

Once upon a time, in a forest lived many animals. Some of these animals were predators who would hunt for food. But, during winter, these predators would hibernate to save energy and stay warm.

One day, a group of animals were making their burrows for the winter. They were digging, collecting leaves and twigs to make it comfortable. Suddenly, they heard a sound that made them freeze. It was the sound of one of the predators breathing!

They all panicked and started to run away, but then they remembered that the predator was hibernating and wouldn't harm them. They all slowly approached the burrow and peered inside. To their surprise, they saw the predator was fast asleep, snoring softly.

From that day on, they didn't fear the predators anymore. They realized that even though they were predators, they too needed to rest and have a peaceful sleep. And so, the animals continued to make their burrows, and the predators continued to hibernate, and everyone lived happily ever after.
