The friends were amazed by the color of the water, it was so dark and deep. They had never seen anything like it before. "This is it!" they exclaimed, "Black is the most beautiful color in the world!"
They were so happy that they had found the perfect color that they decided to name the lake after it. From that day on, the lake was known as Black Lake and the friends would often go back to visit it.
