Max and the Boxcar Treasure

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Max who was feeling frustrated. He had always been selfish and wanted everything for himself. One day, he stumbled upon a warehouse filled with boxcars full of stuff. Max was so excited, he decided to collect as much as he could and make his room fancier. But as he was filling his room with all the stuff from the warehouse, he realized that he had become so selfish that he had no one to share his newfound treasures with. Max learned that it is more important to share and be kind, rather than being selfish and collecting things for oneself. The end.

  3. What did Max learn by the end of the story?
  4. Would you have done the same as Max or would you have shared the stuff with others?
  5. Why is it important to share and be kind, instead of collecting things for ourselves?
