The Little Train's Bright Idea

Once upon a time, there was a little train that ran through a dark, long tunnel. The tunnel was so dark that the little train had to carry its own light. One day, the little train's light went out and it couldn't see anything. It stopped at a platform in the middle of the tunnel. The train was worried because it was very dark and it didn't have enough light. But instead of being afraid, the little train decided to do something about it. It remembered that it had enough coal to keep its engine running, so it used the heat from the engine to make a fire. The fire lit up the platform and the train was able to see again. From then on, the little train always made sure it had enough coal to make a fire in case its light went out again.
