She went to him and asked him the definition of a word he claimed to know everything about. Billy, feeling confident, gave the definition, but Lily knew it was wrong.
Feeling embarrassed, Billy asked Lily to review his vocabulary. Lily, who wasn't suspiciously, agreed and found that Billy had a lot to learn. She taught him all the right words and definitions, and by the end of the day, Billy realized he wasn't a know-it-all after all.
From then on, they used their newfound vocabulary to impress their classmates and have fun together. They even started to reckon they could become the smartest kids in their class!
