Once upon a time, there lived a monk named Brother Marcus. He lived in a peaceful abbey in the countryside and spent his days praying, meditating and helping the villagers. However, his life took an unexpected turn when he met a young archer named Lila.
Lila was a skilled archer and she often visited the abbey to practice her shooting. Brother Marcus was fascinated by her abilities and soon became her mentor, teaching her all he knew about archery and the ways of the world.
One day, while Lila was practicing, a shaft of her arrow hit the target and shattered into pieces. Brother Marcus was worried and asked her what was wrong. Lila looked glum and told him that her arrow had been made by a spiteful blacksmith who had duped her into paying a large sum of money for a poorly made arrow.
Brother Marcus felt angry and wanted to help Lila. He suggested they go to the blacksmith's shop and ask for a warrant. A warrant is a written order that gives someone the right to do something, and Brother Marcus hoped it would help Lila get her money back.
The next day, they went to the blacksmith's shop and asked for a warrant. But the blacksmith was a spiteful man and he refused to give them one. He laughed at them and told them to leave his shop.
Feeling upset, Brother Marcus and Lila returned to the abbey and decided to write a letter to the king, asking for his help. Brother Marcus wrote the letter using a beautiful quill and they sent it to the king.
Days went by and they received a reply from the king. The king was pleased with their request and had ordered the blacksmith to return Lila's money and to make her a new arrow.
Lila was overjoyed and thanked Brother Marcus for his help. From that day forward, she continued to practice her archery and became known as one of the best archers in the kingdom.
Brother Marcus was happy to have made a friend in Lila and was proud of her achievements. He had shown that even a monk can be brave and helpful when someone needs him.
