Mittens and Friends: The Rainy Day Adventure

Once upon a time, there was a little cat named Mittens. Mittens loved to play with her friends, a bat named Batsy, a rat named Whiskers, and a man named Mr. Johnson. They would play together every day in the park.

One day, while they were playing, it started to rain. Mr. Johnson quickly grabbed his umbrella and offered to share it with his friends. Batsy flew under the umbrella, but Mittens, Whiskers, and Mr. Johnson all had to run to find shelter.

They ran to a nearby store, where they found a mat to sit on and stay dry. As they sat there, they noticed that the store sold all sorts of hats, from baseball caps to fancy dress hats. Mittens wanted to buy a new hat, but she didn't have any money with her.

Whiskers, being the clever rat he was, suggested that they use the can that Mr. Johnson had brought with him to collect some coins. They put the can out in the rain and, before long, it was filled with money.

With their newfound wealth, the friends were able to buy Mittens the hat of her dreams. And from that day on, they never went to the park without bringing the can and their umbrella, just in case it rained again. They also bought a fan and they all were happy and cool.

The end.
