Once upon a time, there was a geologist named Dr. Rocks who loved to study the Earth and all its wonders. One day, Dr. Rocks went on a journey to a high plateau in the mountains to study the terrain and see if there were any new discoveries to be made.

As Dr. Rocks was walking along the edge of the plateau, he noticed a strange fissure in the ground. He carefully approached the fissure and saw that it led down to a plunge pool. Dr. Rocks was very curious and wanted to explore this new area, so he carefully climbed down into the pool.

To his surprise, he found that the plunge pool was filled with small creatures called polyps. Dr. Rocks had never seen anything like them before and was fascinated by their unusual appearance. He took out his notebook and started to draw the polyps and make notes about their behavior.

Just then, a Sherpa named Tashi appeared at the edge of the pool. Tashi was a local who knew the mountains like the back of his hand and was always happy to help visitors like Dr. Rocks. Tashi told Dr. Rocks that the polyps were very special creatures and that the downstream from the pool was where they got their food.

Dr. Rocks was so grateful for Tashi's help and knowledge. He followed Tashi downstream and found that the area was full of plants and animals that the polyps ate. He also discovered that the terrain was very unique and that there were many more wonders to be explored.

From that day on, Dr. Rocks and Tashi became good friends and continued to explore the mountains together. They discovered many new things and made many new discoveries. And even though they have since retired, their love for the mountains and their passion for exploring the Earth continues to this day.
