Party in the Park

Partners pack paper, paint, and a pan of snacks for a park party, then choose which parent will meet them.

Read together

Sam: We need paper plates and paint for the signs.

Rae: I will bring a pan of fruit. Which parent can meet us at the park?

Sam: Mine. Partner with me on the music playlist too.

Rae: One pair of scissors for the craft table. Page two of the plan lists games.

Sam: If anyone feels pain from running, we rest under the tree.

Rae: Party starts at four. Park gate, then the open part near the fountain.

Sam: Paint, paper, pan, park, party — we are ready.

Rae: Call your parent now so nobody waits alone. They checked the meaning once more, spoke the key words aloud, and ended with a calm line that made the whole scene easy to remember the next day.
