Read together

Husband: Good morning. I need beef for dinner, and chicken if you have it.

Butcher: Steak or mince? Lamb is fresh today too.

Husband: Steak for two, and a little mince. No lamb this week.

Butcher: Tell me the truth — grill or pan?

Husband: Either works. We will add tomato and a simple salad.

Butcher: Meat is ready. Chicken pieces are in the cold case.

Husband: Thank you. My wife asked for truth on the price too — what do I owe?

Butcher: Fair weight, fair price. Enjoy the steak and the chicken.

Husband: We will. Tomato salad on the side — dinner is set.
